FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: prefabricated concrete road obstacle provides stabilization due to the filled soil located on the horizontal protruding section of the assembled unit, which creates resistance to tipping pressures, which occur when a vehicle strikes a section of the prefabricated road obstacle which passes above the road surface. The horizontal protruding section has an optimal triangular shape, which provides grasp of the greater part of the filled soil than usual, which is located directly above the horizontal protruding section or the section forming counter-balance. Thus, the triangular section protruding in the horizontal direction due to the arch effect between adjacent blocks provides the use of larger amount of filled soil for counteraction to dynamic pressure and reduction of the concrete amount required to ensure adequate retention of the vehicle. The guide socket fixates the road obstacle to the retaining wall located below it.
EFFECT: resistance to vehicle impact action.
