FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction, in particular to erection of retaining walls, and can be used in road construction as lower and upper retaining walls, reinforcement of slopes of roads, reinforcement of soil slopes, bank protection, etc. Retaining wall consists of reinforced concrete blocks fastened through structural holes made in them along the entire height of the wall to the base with reinforcing frames filled with concrete, horizontal rows of which are formed during laying with a pitch shift. Blocks in the plan are made in the form of a trapezoid, and the wall consists of base blocks, lower, middle and wall blocks, which are installed on each other, at that the first three of them are buried in the ground.
EFFECT: providing an increase in the bearing capacity of the retaining wall in relation to the active pressure of the supported soil mass, resistance to vibration and seismic effects; possibility of using the structure on curvilinear sections of the relief with the creation of retaining walls of various configurations with different bending radii of external and internal, including use in conditions of mountainous terrain and/or other squeezed and constrained terrain conditions, reduction of labour intensity of installation with simultaneous acceleration of the process of wall construction.
