SUBSTANCE: in the method, the electrical conductivity in the extracting solution is determined. Wherein 1 g of leaves of each variety are placed in test tubes with 1M of sucrose solution. The electrical conductivity is measured periodically to obtain distinct differences between grades in the range of 15 to 70 μS/cm. The plots of the electrical conductivity versus time are plotted, the rate of change in electrical conductivity is calculated, the value of which is inversely proportional to the plant's drought resistance.
EFFECT: increasing the accuracy of measurements and shortening the time of determination.
