FIELD: biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: disclosed method consists in the fact that using leaves of 10-day-old seedlings as a vegetal object, grown from artificially infected seeds with a causative agent of common root rot of cereals on a solution of sodium chloride and seedlings not exposed to stressors, water extracts of leaf cuttings are prepared and according to change of specific electric conductivity the varieties are differentiated by resistance to combined action of agent of common root rot of cereals and chloride salinization.

EFFECT: method enables to carry out early instrumental diagnostics with high differentiating ability of varieties belonging to closely related groups at the sprouts stage, which significantly speeds up the selection of promising forms in the selection process and selection of varieties in agricultural technologies.
