FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: pipe welding base includes a mechanized storage for pipes with sloping surfaces, cutoff levers, a root seam assembly and welding lines configured to input the internal centralizer on its both sides, and a rotating welding line for additional root weld welding. Wherein the assembly and the welding lines of root seam contain intermediate means in the form of intermediate sloping surface for pipe sections movement from he assembly and the welding lines of root seam to the automatic rotary welding line.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of pipe welding base which allows to increase performance due to presence of an idle roller bearing and ability for welding station to move fast to welding place along tracks.
