FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device for the production of granular foam glass and granular foam glass crystalline materials includes a tubular furnace, a tray oven and a refrigerator for slow cooling and rapid cooling. In a tubular furnace, the granules are heated to a temperature of not more than 620-640°C. The trough furnace includes a foaming zone and a quenching zone and is in the form of a system of trays positioned at an offset from each other and mounted at the exit of the tubular furnace. Each tray is equipped with an individual adjustable heater and vibration drive. The refrigerator includes a hopper for slow cooling to 600°C, installed behind the trough furnace, and an open vibro site with forced heat removal for rapid cooling.
EFFECT: obtaining a uniformly foamed structure in the foam glass.
