FIELD: building materials industry; methods of production of the foamed glass.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to production of the foamed glass and may be used in the building materials industry. The technical result of the invention is reduction of the temperature of foaming, decrease of the viscosity and the surface tension of the glass, increase of the foamed glass quality and improvement of the production ecological compatibility. The method includes reduction of the cullet, the mass batching of the charge components, the grinding of the cullet and porophore is conducted in the planetary-type mill with humidification of the powder by the water from 0.5 up to 5 % of over the mass up to the specific surface area of 550-600 m2/kg. The charge is granulated within two stages: at the turboplast granulator and the plate granulator. Then the granules are dusted, dried in the electrical tunnel-belt kiln at the temperature of 473°К, frothed in the electrical tunnel-belt kiln, annealed in the electrical anneal tunnel-belt kiln at the temperature from 893°К up to 323°К and separated in the stripping-off drum.

EFFECT: the invention ensures reduction of the temperature of foaming, decrease of the viscosity and the surface tension of the glass, increase of the foamed glass quality, improvement of the production ecological compatibility.
