FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production of polymer compositions containing polyethylene and biodegradable filler used in the manufacture of packaging thermoformed articles and films capable of biodegradation under the influence of climatic factors and microorganisms with high operational and technological characteristics. The polymer composition for the manufacture of biodegradable articles contains a biodegradable filler - beet pulp, a technological additive - polyethylene glycol, ethylene vinyl acetate copolymer, a mixture of low and high pressure polyethylenes in a ratio of 1:1 for the given ratio of components.
EFFECT: invention allows, with the same content of biodegradable filler, providing a high biodegradability, to significantly improve operational and technological characteristics.
