Composition for producing the biodegradable polymeric material comprises starch, polyvinyl alcohol, glycerol, water, L-aspartic acid, hydrochloric acid and ethyl alcohol. Biodegradable polymeric material based on said composition comprises starch, polyvinyl alcohol, glycerol, water, the product of the reaction of L-aspartic and hydrochloric acid as L-aspartic acid hydrochloride.

EFFECT: technical problem of the group of inventions is the creation of a biodegradable polymer material based on a mixture of starch and polyvinyl alcohol, products from which are effectively destroyed by climatic factors and microorganisms.
