FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the production of biodegradable polymeric materials containing a mixture of starch and polyvinyl alcohol used in the production of packaging thermoformed articles and films capable of biodegradation under the influence of climatic factors and microorganisms. Composition for producing the biodegradable polymeric material comprises starch, polyvinyl alcohol, glycerol, water, L-aspartic acid, hydrochloric acid and ethyl alcohol. Biodegradable polymeric material based on said composition comprises starch, polyvinyl alcohol, glycerol, water, the product of the reaction of L-aspartic and hydrochloric acid as L-aspartic acid hydrochloride.
EFFECT: technical problem of the group of inventions is the creation of a biodegradable polymer material based on a mixture of starch and polyvinyl alcohol, products from which are effectively destroyed by climatic factors and microorganisms.
