SUBSTANCE: method of obtaining a compost suppressant with respect to the Fusarium oxysporum pathogene of plant fusarium wilt consists in preparing a compost obtained from agricultural waste, isolating strains of microorganisms from compost, preparing a biopreparation on the basis of the isolated strains, introducing the biopreparation into the compost, assessing the suppressivity of the compost. The suppressive properties of the strains are assessed by 4 mechanisms of suppressivity, the mutual antagonistic activity of the strains is assessed, the biopreparation is introduced twice into the compost, the fertilizing properties of the suppressive compost are assessed.

EFFECT: invention allows to obtain composts simultaneously possessing fertilizing properties and stable suppressive properties with respect to the Fusarium oxysporum pathogene of plant fusarium wilt.
