SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to the means of medical monitoring of acute lung damage (ALI). A permanent storage medium with stored instructions executed by the electronic data processing device comprising a display, includes reception of a plurality of patient's physiological parameters, reception of information about the administration of drugs related to introduction of one or more drugs to a patient, ALI indicator value calculation based at least on the received set of physiological parameters for the patient and the received information about the medicinal fluids administration and display of representations of the ALI indicator calculated values. The patient monitoring device comprises an electronic data processing device including a display and a permanent storage medium. Patient monitoring is provided using the device.
