FIELD: packaging industry.
SUBSTANCE: valve for filling and emptying an air bag is made with the possibility to open the valve for entering air into the air bag by means of air pressure, with the subsequent sealing of the valve after removing the air pressure source. For emptying, the pivoting device, for example a conventional coin, can be inserted into the valve insert, which is then rotated into the locked open position allowing air to escape from the air bag. An air bag design with such a valve and a method for filling and emptying such air bags are also present.
EFFECT: increasing the reliability due to ensuring the protection of goods from damage during their transportation.
