FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: in the method for utilizing a mixture of polychlorobiphenyls and chlorobenzenes, including their supply to plasma zone of the reactor, decomposition of the mixture and production of utilisation products, decomposition of the mixture of polychlorobiphenyls and chlorobenzenes is carried out by impact of low-voltage electric discharges between moving and stationary electrodes. The resulting utilisation products are subjected to a separation operation, extraction with an organic solvent, followed by return of mixture unreacted components to the plasma zone of the reactor.
EFFECT: simplified process.
