SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an additive for hydraulically settable compositions comprising an aqueous, colloidally dispersed composition of at least one salt of a polyvalent metal cation and at least one polymeric dispersant that contains anionic and/or anionic groups and polyether side chains. The additive is suitable, in particular, as an additive for retaining the cone precipitation. The invention also relates to a method of preparing an additive and to the use of an additive. The invention is developed in subclaims.
