FIELD: composition of structural materials.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to modify the hardening of compositions of building materials containing an inorganic binder and/or for the production of construction products. The mixture contains at least one compound A selected from glyoxylic acid, its salts, and addition or condensation products of glyoxylic acid or its salts; and at least one polyhydroxy compound B selected from polyalcohols with a carbon to oxygen ratio of 1 to 1.5, inclusive. Component B is preferably glycerol. Compound A and compound B are present in the mixture in a mass ratio of 10:1 to 1:10. The mixture may further contain a boron source, a carbonate source, polycarboxylic acids or salts thereof, and other additives.

EFFECT: tecnical result of the invention is to ensure good workability of the mixture before setting, improving the compressive strength of hardened construction products.
