FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: chuck is designed so that the working fluid pumped by a pushing member (8b) is fed through a passage (8) into a discharge chamber (6) to reduce the diameter of the elastic deformable part (2b). The chuck contains a body (1) having a hole of the part (5a) accomodating the flange and a hole of the part (5b) accomodating the sleeve on the lower surface of the part (5a) accomodating the flange, and a sleeve (2) with a hole (2a) to insert the object to be fixed. While the sleeve is configured to connect and insert the part (5a) accomodating the flange into the part (5b) accomodating the sleeve from the front end. The sleeve (2) forms a discharge chamber (6) storing a certain amount of hydraulic fluid between the sleeve (2) and the part (5b) accomodating the sleeve. The flange (7) of the sleeve can lengage the part (5a) accomodating the flange.
EFFECT: ensuring accurate and efficient cutting in a narrow area.
