FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for producing tubular billet in multi-position machine for cold forming. Cutting device for producing uniformly cut edge tubular billet in multi-position machine for cold forming includes bushing, cutting tool and mechanism, providing radial and rotary movement of cutting tool relative to bushing. Multiple-position machine for cold forming includes fixed lower part of die and plunger made with possibility of back-and-forth movement. Sharp edges of cutting tool and sleeve are arranged to cut tubular billet. Note here that ring is removed from tubular billet to make even edge.
EFFECT: technical result is obtaining a uniformly located edge of tubular billet in multi-position machine for cold forming.
