SUBSTANCE: paper of stable size includes base-paper, impregnated with an impregnating mixture on at least one front side, which consists of at least one alcohol sugar with common formula HOCH2[CH(OH)]nCH2OH, where n = 2, 3, 4 or 5; of urea and at least one substance isolated from polyalkyleneglycol and glycerol.
EFFECT: invention allows for the production of paper which has a low stretch ration in wet condition, and also proposes substances and mixtures to give modifying properties to the paper or to improve the paper size stability.
