FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: while manufacturing an outer tube of a telescopic supporting rack, a ring is put on a tube section, the inner diameter of which corresponds to the outer diameter of the tube section. Then the tube section is expanded by installing a punch into it. After removing the punch, or simultaneously with it, the expanded tube section is narrowed to the original outer diameter by means of a ring, after which at least a part of the tube section is threaded. The telescopic supporting rack comprises the outer tube and the inner pipe arranged therein with the possibility of displacement.
EFFECT: providing the required load capacity of the outer tube of the telescopic supporting rack, while simultaneously reducing its weight.
