FIELD: separation.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a magnetic separator for use in a central heating system (versions) and, in particular, to a device for disconnecting a magnetic separator. Magnetic separator (10) comprises housing (12), including a separation chamber and a magnet, inlet and outlet ports (20, 20a) extended from the housing. Inlet and outlet ports include plug-in connectors (30) with clamping collets surrounding the opening of each of the inlet and outlet ports. Collets are pressed inward towards the main part of the housing. Release tool (44) comprises first and second bearing areas (46, 48), tightly fitting to the collets of inlet and outlets ports (30), and made as a single element for applying force through bearing areas (46, 48) to both connectors (30) at the same time.
EFFECT: technical result achieved when using the group of inventions is to ensure reliable assembly and easy removal of the magnetic separator from the pipeline.
