These decorrelational filtering processes can cause specific coherence between decorrelation signals between channel-specific decorrelation signals for at least one pair of channels. Such channel-specific de-correlation signals may be received and/or determined. You can control the inter-channel coherence between a number of pairs of audio channels. By performing operations on the filtered audio data, a set of channel-specific decorrelation signals corresponding to the set of IDC values can be synthesized.
