LIGHT-EMITTING STRUCTURAL ELEMENT Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC E04F15/02 F21S8/02 F21V33/00 F21Y101/00

Abstract RU 2630406 C2

FIELD: lighting.

SUBSTANCE: opaque light-emitting structural element contains a plurality of light emitters (108) built into the structural element, such that it is invisible in its switched off state. The light from each of the plurality of light emitters emerges from the structural element when it is turned on. The structural element comprises an upper layer (202) having a side (204) facing the user and a mounting side. Mentioned mounting side comprises a plurality of cavities extending through mentioned top layer and a carrier layer (110) comprising said plurality of light emitters (108, 404), each of which is located in a respective one of mentioned cavities in the mentioned top layer (202). The side facing the user of mentioned top layer has a roughened surface having peaks and recesses. Each of the plurality of light emitters (108, 404) protrudes from the rough surface of mentioned upper layer (202). The peaks of the roughened surface extend above the projecting light emitters so that each of the plurality of light emitters will be regarded as substantially disposed in the recesses of the rough surface having a mounting side and a facing side (104, 204, 304) that faces the user when the light-emitting structural element is used in the construction; nd a light emitter (108, 404) built into the structural element. The light emitter is built into the structural element in such a way that the light emitter is invisible in its switched off state and the light from the light emitter exits the structural element when the light emitter is in its switched on state.

EFFECT: increasing the compactness and providing a shelter for the light-emitting structural element.
