GAS-LIQUID SEPARATOR (OPTIONS) Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC B01D53/26 B01D45/12 B04C5/103

Abstract RU 2630525 C1

FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: according to the first option, the gas-liquid separator has a chamber for separation of gas-liquid mixture with an inlet for the gas-liquid mixture which is connected to the main pipeline, contains blades, a chamber for collection of fluid, an outlet for the release of the purified gas. Above the liquid collecting chamber made in the form of a close tank with a branch pipe to drain the fluid, there is the gas-liquid mixture separation chamber in the form of a logarithmic spiral channel with a base and a vertical wall, on the inner side of which around the perimeter of the spiral there are vertically mounted blades with external faces at an angle of 100110° to the vertical plane and located at a distance from each other to generate a turbulent eddy. In this case, there are holes for draining the liquid into the liquid collecting chamber under the inner edges of the blades in the chamber base. The gas-liquid mixture separation chamber has a cover in which there is an outlet for the release of the purified gas. In this case, the cross-section of the inlet for the gas-liquid mixture, formed by the chambers bases and the outer wall of the gas-liquid mixture separation chamber, is commensurable with the cross-section of the main pipeline. According to another option, the gas-liquid separator has a gas-liquid mixture separation chamber with an inlet for the gas-liquid mixture, which is connected to the main pipeline, contains blades, a chamber for collection of fluid, an outlet for the release of the purified gas. The liquid collecting chamber is located below the gas-liquid mixture separation chamber, the bases of which are made in the form of semirings with external and internal vertical walls located along their arcs. In this case, the liquid collecting chamber is designed as a close tank with a branch pipe to drain the fluid, and the gas-liquid mixture separation chamber has a cover in which there is an outlet for the release of the purified gas. In the gas-liquid mixture separation chamber, along the entire perimeter of the arc of its outer wall on its inner side there are vertically mounted blades with their external faces at an angle of 100110° to the vertical plane and at a distance from each other to generate a turbulent eddy. In this case, there are holes for draining the liquid into the liquid collecting chamber under the inner edges of the blades in the chamber base. In this case, the cross-section of the inlet for the gas-liquid mixture, formed by the chambers bases and the outer wall of the gas-liquid mixture separation chamber, is commensurable with the cross-section of the main pipeline.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of gas purification.
