FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a polymer composition comprising, at least, one polymeric resin, which is, at least, one thermoplastic polymer and, at least, one white mineral material with a reactive surface that is calcium carbonate. The invention also relates to the method for producing calcium carbonate with a reactive surface, calcium carbonate produced by the process, fibre and/or film and/or filament and/or a breathable film comprising a polymer composition and/or calcium carbonate with a reactive surface. Herewith the mixture of phosphoric acid esters is used to treat the surface to reduce the hydrophilicity and/or the tendency to moisture absorption of the treated particles surface.
EFFECT: production of a polymer composition that imparts improved mechanical properties to final products and low hydrophilicity.
