FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: rotary feeder consists of a body having through channels for balls passage, longitudinal grooves rigidly fixed to the working shaft and having the form of a cylinder located on the outer generatrix equally distributed along the circumference with a pitch providing sufficient thickness of the bridges between the grooves. The walls of the grooves form working chambers at the intersection with through channels. The body is made in the form of a hollow cylinder with rectangular protrusions arranged along the outer contour. Through channels for passing the balls are provided in side walls of the protrusions. The longitudinal grooves of the rotor wheel cylinder have ellipsoidal profile of a depth equal to half the of the balls diameter.
EFFECT: providing single-feed of balls for operation and removal of waste balls from inoperative chambers.
