FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: isolated antibodies or their antigen-binding fragments, that specifically bind toxin B and/or A of C. difficile, are described. Also, compositions and kits containing such antibodies are provided. Hybridoma cell lines deposited under access numbers ATCC PTA-9693, ATCC PTA-9692, ATCC PTA-9694, ATCC PTA-9888, where hybridoma produces a monoclonal antibody that specifically binds the toxin of C. difficile, are presented.
EFFECT: invention expands the arsenal of tools for inhibition or neutralisation of toxicity caused by said toxin.
