FIELD: weapon and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: method for manufacturing armour-protective multilayer material for both individual protection of a person and for protection of military equipment and other objects is proposed. The method involves the formation of air gaps in multilayer materials consisting of aramid fabric, or materials from metal layers. The size of the gaps and their number are determined by the energy of the impacting projectile. A bulletproof vest made of armour-protective fabric for a person is analyzed and calculated.
EFFECT: increased degree of protection.
