FIELD: aircrafts.
SUBSTANCE: device providing achievement of supersonic speeds of shells with small mass (including satellites of the Earth) is offered. Technical problem of the proposed invention is such flight control of an aerial device, at which it is possible to maintain the calculated (permissible as per the operating conditions) values of heat inflows to structural elements (including portholes) of the head part (HP) due to aerodynamic braking of the aerial device in the final atmospheric part of the trajectory. Also, the device for achieving supersonic velocities of low-mass shells, which includes two metal electrodes with a discharge gap between them, which from one end of the device are connected to a high-voltage impulse current source, and from the opposite end have a hole for the exit of the shell, wherein one of the electrodes is the outer body of the device, characterized in that the device is made in the form of a coaxial line (CL).
EFFECT: in addition, there are opportunities to effectively use decoy targets.
