SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technical training aids sphere that are made on the basis of the ECM and related equipment, which is made of the electronic components, and could be used for the specific hardware-software simulators construction and for the following communications expert training to work with the communications tools of the digital transmission system, and also for the simultaneous working with the other hardware-software simulators maintenance. The simulator comprises the training process and co-operation control module, the task selection module, the interactive module, the interworking with the database module, the parameters congruence module, the interface module, the central processor unit, the storage device, the input-output unit and the information visualization device, the customer-premises equipment unit, the line termination unit, the indicating unit. The noted simulator enables the cooperative work of the developed specific hardware-software simulators with the other hardware-software simulators as a component of the hardware-software complex in the function of the simulation device of the subscriber and line signals of the digital transmission systems applications.

EFFECT: capability of the experts training on the basics of the appliance and on the order of working with the communications tools of the digital transmission systems.
