FIELD: machine engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to mechanical engineering and can be used in gear transmissions with crankcase lubrication by immersing and arranging shafts in vertical plane. The lubricating device comprises an oil bath with liquid lubricating material into which the lower lubricated gears are immersed. Each wheel is provided with a pair of scrapers on the side of its outlet from the oil bath during rotation and symmetrically contacting to its both end sides. The scrapers are fixed relative to the rotating wheel above the upper level of the lubricating material with overlapping of wheel ends and circumference described by contact points of rotating wheel ends with the upper level of lubricating material. Each scraper is made in the form of rectangular section of a strip adjoining to the wheel with its end at a right angle. The section is arched in the direction from the oil bath upwards and intersecting tooth rim recess circumference not lower than the point of intersection of this circumference with the horizontal line of wheel symmetry.
EFFECT: improved gear transmission lubrication quality.
