FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves triangular flap formation on 12 hours from the conjunctiva with base to the conjunctiva, creation of a superficial scleral flap, 350 microns thick, base to the sulcus, self-sealing paracentesis, formation and removal of a deep scleral flap, removal of the outer wall of the ciliary canal, scleral flap suturing with nodal sutures and conjunctival flap suturing with nodal sutures, as well as measures to prevent scarring and increase the intraocular fluid outflow. As measures to prevent scarring and increase intraocular fluid outflow after deep scleral flap the formation, prior to the ciliary canal outer wall removal, this area is saturated with 1% riboflavin solution for 5 minutes followed by irradiation with UV power of 2.5-3 mW/cm2, duration of 5 minutes, total 2 cycles with an interval of 2-3 minutes between cycles.
EFFECT: method allows to increase the effectiveness of glaucoma treatment by eliminating the effect of drainage resorption and displacement, as well as exclusion of severe postoperative complications.
