FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to ophthalmology. Conjunctival incision is performed along limb, conjunctiva is separated, sclera is exposed and vessels are coagulated. Superficial scleral flap is formed with a base at the limb and cut out by one third of the thickness of the sclera with entering the surface layers of cornea by 1.0 mm, deep scleral flap is formed with a base at the limb and cut out, leaving a layer of sclera, extending onto the Schlemm's canal. Section of the ciliary body is exposed, a deep scleral flap is excised together with an external wall of the Schlemm's canal and a strip of corneoscleral tissue up to a Descemet's membrane with width of 1.0 mm. A scleral bed is filled with a Healaflow drainage implant, and a conjunctival incision is closed. Conjunctival incision is 4.0 mm long; the superficial scleral flap is 4.0×4.0 mm, deep scleral flap is formed with size of 3.0×3.0 mm, at that, on the side edges of the scleral bed in the middle of the intrascleral cavity, an interrupted suture with a non-absorbable polypropylene suture 10/0 is applied according to the scheme as in Fig. 2, then the superficial scleral flap is not closed.

EFFECT: method enables stabilizing intraocular pressure and arresting progression of glaucoma optic neuropathy.
