FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: starting gaseous mixture is fed to the absorption unit and filtered through a powder of the intermetallic alloy powder having an equilibrium hydrogenation pressure lower than the hydrogen partial pressure in the starting mixture. The absorption unit is cooled to maintain a constant temperature. At the same time, carbon dioxide is removed from the absorption unit. To desorb hydrogen, the temperature in the absorption unit is increased.
EFFECT: invention allows to reduce losses and to increase the degree of hydrogen purification from the carbon dioxide impurity.
