FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat power engineering and hydrogen power engineering, particularly, to heating or cooling devices based on reversible thermochemical cycles using energy of low-potential heat sources. In the filling of heat exchangers particles of powder of metal-hydride material are introduced, uniformly mixed with multiple heat-conducting powder objects which are not reacting with hydrogen and not reacting with metal-hydride material, which are particles of material, which has density lower than copper density, and thermal conductivity coefficient is higher than copper thermal conductivity coefficient. Dispersion of heat-conducting powder objects not reacting with hydrogen and not reacting with metal-hydride material is equal to or exceeds dispersion of particles of metal-hydride material. Each particle of metal-hydride material powder has at least one section of surface in contact with gaseous hydrogen, and at least one section of surface in contact with heat-conducting powder object.
EFFECT: increasing specific power of metal-hydride heat exchangers and reducing weight of device, as well as reducing sintering of powders of metal-hydride fill in cycles of absorption and extraction of hydrogen.
