PILE-SINKING METHOD Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC E02D7/08

Abstract RU 2631058 C2

FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: pile sinking method includes installation (guidance) of the pile, its orientation, fixing and driving into the ground by means of pile driver. The driver is made in form of impact mass installed in the housing of the gravity hammer with hoisting winch with the possibility of the reciprocating movement inside the housing. As a pile driver, the driver with freely falling impact mass is used without the support of the winch cable and with the optimally controlled and managed impact energy Ei in each i-th cycle of driving in accordance with the expression: Ei=mghi, kJ, where m is the shock mass, m; g - acceleration of gravity, m/s2; hi - the height of free throw of the impact mass for impact in the i-th driving cycle, m. The Ei values are set depending on the type (structure) of the soil and the estimated bearing capacity of the pile to be driven. The free throw of the impact mass and the optimal control of the impact energy of the pile driving are carried out by means of a gripping mechanism of the impact mass, connected to the winch cable and equipped with a flag-indicator of its throw height, arranged with the possibility of stopping in the perforation holes of the hammer body. The perforation on the hammer body is made along the line parallel to the body axis on a segment of the length L with the gradation N, defined by the relations: h0<L<hmax, N=0.1;0.2…1.0L, where h0 and hmax are, respectively, the initial and maximum free throw height of the impact mass. The impact energy is controlled by the position of the flag-indicator in the perforation holes.

EFFECT: increasing the work efficiency.
