FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: method involves gas dynamic tests of all field wells. A database is formed based on the results of primary research obtained in 3-4 years. Actual results of gas dynamic research of wells are compared with results in database by means of analysis and comparison of complex conductivity parameter values (k⋅h) which are determined during gas-dynamic tests for each well over the entire field, after that conclusion on the availability of gas-water contact movement or its absence is made.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of gas-water contact position change monitoring on the entire filed area.
