DEVICE CARDIOPULMONARY REANIMATION WITH MEANS FOR INITIAL INSTALLATION Russian patent published in 2017 - IPC A61H31/00

Abstract RU 2631415 C2

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: cardiopulmonary reanimation (CPR) device comprises a main body, a movable part that is manually moved by a person to perform initial installation of the CPR device, a contact surface for contacting the thorax, a contact sensor for detecting a contact between the thorax and the contact surface, a position sensor to determine the position of the movable part, when the contact between the thorax and the contact surface is determined by the contact sensor, and a processor. The processor is configured to initialize the CPR device by adjusting the position of the movable part detected by the position sensor as the starting position and by adjusting the starting position range above and below the starting position as the allowable range within which the movable part must be fixed prior to automated execution of thorax compressions. The method of the CPR device initialization is disclosed.

EFFECT: prevention of shock compressions and restriction of venous return.
