COMPUTER-AIDED DEVICE FOR PERFORMING INDIRECT CARDIAC MASSAGE DURING CPR AND ITS SUPPORTING STRUCTURE Russian patent published in 2024 - IPC A61H31/00

Abstract RU 2818452 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: declared group of inventions relates to medical equipment, namely to an automated device for performing indirect cardiac massage of a patient and to its supporting structure for fixing the device on the patient. Automated device for performing indirect cardiac massage during cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) includes a unit of indirect cardiac massage installed on a support structure and containing placed in a housing: a control unit, electric motor is connected by means of electric motor driver with control unit, and mechanical unit including central movable part coaxially arranged in cup rigidly fixed on base. Central movable part comprises a ball screw (BS) nut mounted on the BS shaft and rigidly connected to the holder, on the rod of which a compression unit is installed, which includes a pressure disk with a polymer suction cup fixed on the plunger. Base of the housing of the indirect cardiac massage unit, which is rigidly connected to the base of the mechanical assembly, is part of the support structure. Pressure disk of the compression assembly is made with a proximal part in the form of a cup, inside which there is a plunger connected to the pressure disk by means of a bayonet connection with the possibility of installation of the pressure disk in two positions. BS nut holder is connected to the sliding bushing by means of two pins, which are inserted into the corresponding slots, located in the upper part of the sliding bushing with the possibility of movement of the sliding bushing and the BS nut holder relative to each other along the axes of symmetry of the sliding bushing and the BS nut holder. Magnet is installed on the outer surface of the sliding bushing. Magnetic sensor is installed on the cup, having upper and lower sensitive zones corresponding to two positions of the pressure disk, and connected to the control unit with the possibility of reading and transmitting information on the positions of the pressure disk of the compression unit for the control unit to change the operation algorithm of the device. Support structure of the automated device for indirect cardiac massage during CPR includes a base pivotally connected to two lateral posts, which are attached by means of a locking connection to a spinal board. Base is made in the form of rigidly interconnected base of the housing of the indirect cardiac massage unit and the base of the mechanical unit. Lock connection of the side posts is equipped with end sensors with the possibility of displaying the state of the lock connection on the control and display panel arranged on the housing of the indirect cardiac massage unit.

EFFECT: increased effectiveness of resuscitation measures and safety for the patient by including an additional compression algorithm 15/2 (child mode), improving the quality of compression/decompression, enlarging the useful area of the CPR apparatus without increasing the overall dimensions.
