What is disclosed is a device for providing resuscitation or a state of temporary suspension of vital activity by redistributing cardiac output to improve cerebral and cardiac supply of a patient, a device comprising an electrically controlled redistribution component, configured to be attached to a patient and interacting with a patient to provide redistribution of cardiac output to improve the supply of brain and patient's heart, re-distributing component in accordance with preset response model based on electric signal, and computing means configured to obtain patient data, which indicate psychological and/or anatomical characteristics of the patient, and providing an electrical signal for the redistribution component, based on the patient's data or the standard response. Device can provide mechanisms for protecting patient's aorta and anatomy from unintentional damage, caused by disclosed in this application device in any scenario of its use for intended or otherwise. Also disclosed is a method of providing resuscitation or a condition of temporary suspension of vital activity.
