FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: device for measuring corrosion currents consists of a batch bimetallic sensor and a logger, while a package of separated anode plates of low carbon steel and cathode plates of copper is placed in an insulating mandrel made of epoxy resin to control the working surface area and the ability to compare data from different sensors by value of specific current density.
EFFECT: determination of corrosion current and evaluation of corrosion rate of steel reinforcement in reinforced concrete structures.
