FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: polyethyleneterephthalate viscosity determination method by virtue of the coaxial-cylinder viscosimeter under the dynamic conditions comprises a rotor spinning velocity measurement, a pump drive shaft torque reading, a pump exit temperature measurement. Upon that, the pressure measurement is performed at the drum pump suction end and then the manageable liquid viscosity is obtained by the formulas:

where A, B, C are fixed coefficients; psuc is a pressure at the pump suction end; n is a rotor speed; Mpds is a torque that is expended on the pump drive shaft (or the current intensity on the pump electric motor); t is a pump exit temperature; t0 is a reference temperature.

EFFECT: error removal at viscosity determining of the polyethyleneterephthalate and its accuracy increase and reliability growth.
