FIELD: motors and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the design of screw-and-groove type pumps intended for efficient heating of viscous liquids pumped at low pressure and low flow rates, and can be used for forced hot-jet heating of viscous oil products and other substances in systems and tanks during unloading and transportation. Rotary heater includes a casing, a rotor and an auxiliary rotor. Rotors are equipped with screw discharge and reverse grooves. Direction of the reverse grooves is opposite to that of the discharge ones. Rotor is driven by a motor. Auxiliary rotor is fixed to the drive shaft of the working rotor. Diameter of the auxiliary rotor is 30 % to 10 % of the diameter of the working rotor. Working rotor is provided with bimetallic inserts of aluminum and titanium, the thickness of the aluminum part of the bimetallic insert being from 0.6 to 0.85 of the total thickness of the bimetallic insert.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at developing a design that allows the heating of viscous liquids, petroleum products at low temperatures.
