SUBSTANCE: method of packing a viscous product is carried out in a vertical packaging machine and comprises a film drawing, forming an open-topped packet by thermal film welding to form a longitudinal seam forming the sleeve and a transverse seam. In this case, when the product is filled with a product, the product supply nozzle is cut at the product level in the package or below this level by matching the transfer speed with the filling rate of the package product, and after stopping the filling of the product, additional broaching is carried out, then a transverse seam is formed and the bag is separated from the sleeve. The invention is also a packaging machine for carrying out the process.
EFFECT: improving quality by eliminating air bubbles in the product.
