FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: ligature is halved by a clamp to apply a continuous subcutaneous-intradermal suture. One of the wound corners is stitched intradermally. The subcutaneous tissue is sutured capturing the aponeurosis to the opposite corner of the wound. The other half of the ligature is used to apply an intradermal suture from the initial to the opposite corner of the wound, ending with the ligature end withdrawal on the opposite side from the end of the ligature used to suture the subcutaneous tissue.
EFFECT: decreased traumatism, risk of intraoperative and postoperative complications, reduced treatment time and increased cosmetic result with formation of a proper scar.
