FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: curvilinear body for driving fluids, ships, and using fluid energy is characterized by the presence of a convex external front surface firmly fixed to a concave internal rear surface for defining an open vessel. When the vibrational motion is made, surrounding fluids are accelerated and ejected beyond the vessel, as a result of which the curvlinear body and the surrounding fluids are driven in opposite directions. The curvilinear body is attached to a driving force source directly or through an actuating element fixed to the proposed device by means of an opening. A vibrating propulsor can be driven directly by the reciprocating source of the driving force, or indirectly due to the reactive moment transmitted to the support base.
EFFECT: achieving the thrust vector deviation due to the rotation of the curvilinear body relative to the support base, drag reduction due to the use of hydrodynamic shapes, intake openings, a front wing, a rear wing, and a friction-reducing lubrication cavity, and an increase in propulsive power due to the use of multi-stage vibrating propulsors.
