FIELD: propulsion units.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to propellers designed to create a thrust force in fluids. The propulsion unit based on an instantaneously rotating propeller plate has a propeller plate rotating in a complicated manner. The propeller plate is capable of changing the value of its Midel area from the minimum value to the maximum value during its movement, and, consequently, of changing the drag force in different directions of its movement mirror-symmetric gear mechanism, which provides instant rotary motion to the propeller plate. The propulsion unit has a synchronizer, providing synchronous coordinated operation of two parts of the mirror-symmetric gear mechanism; several sources of mechanical energy to improve the reliability of the propulsion system. The propulsion structure based on an instantaneously rotating propeller plate is used at a fixed position of the propulsion structure itself in a fluid medium with a non-zero flow rate of the medium.
EFFECT: development of directed thrust force in homogeneous fluid medium.
