FIELD: transport.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft engineering, particularly, to aircraft airfoil curvature variation. Aircraft incorporates device (15) representing an airfoil subjected to fluid medium effects in operation. Device (15) comprises outer surface part (24b, 25b) with geometry yielding to variation for fluid medium effects, load-bearing structure (31) to support said outer surface part. Said load-bearing structure (31) is arranged inside device (15) and comprises multiple support working elements (32) made of composite. Geometry of said load-bearing structure (31) can be varied by drive (50) between first stable geometry and second stable geometry to cause variation in outer surface part (24b, 25b) geometry. Note here that support working elements (32) ensure the stiffness of outer surface part (24b, 25b). Composite of structure (31) keeps up the first or second stable geometry independently of said drive (50). Drive (50) cause changes between first and second stable geometry by application of mechanical force to the part of working element.

EFFECT: sufficient stiffness of outer surface part to take up dynamic loads of fluid medium.
