SUBSTANCE: automatic method for large-scale anti-hail protection involves generating and directing vertically upward supersonic shock waves of the required power due to conducting, according to extraneous command signals, consecutive explosions of explosive gas mixture and air in the explosion chamber of each of the acoustic hail prevention generators installed in the M areas of space, being under anti-hail protection. The method also includes receiving signals of the sky intrinsic radiothermal radiation corresponding to each section, squaring the received signals, integrating the squared signals, comparing the integrated signal with N thresholds. Then the "alarm" signal is generated from the result of the comparison and the above command signals corresponding to the "alert" signal are generated, the operating modes of acoustic hail prevention generator are set, such as "on", "on duty", "operation", "shutdown" and "cessation of explosions". The acoustic hail prevention generator of this section is started in accordance with the established operating mode. At the same time, when setting of the "on" operating mode of acoustic generator, the signal code "alert" is generated and transmitted to the air, signal code "alert" received at any point is compared with its own signal codes and, when coinciding with one of them, the integrated signal is compared with threshold "alert", when exceeded, "alert" operating mode is set for the acoustic generator of this section. The automatic network of anti-hail protection includes M acoustic hail prevention generators installed in the M areas of space under the anti-hail protection. Each generator has a cylindrical explosion chamber, a conical guide barrel, a connecting tube, windows with air intake lids, a gas injector and a pilot, a gas supply system, a control panel, a power supply system, a remote control system, and an alerting device including an antenna, a radiometric receiver, a controlled compensating device, a controlled multichannel threshold device, an alerting device, a transmitter, a receiver, a controlled code comparator, a first controlled switch, a controlled single-threshold device, and a second controlled switch.
