SUBSTANCE: method of downloading image fragments to a client's device that has an output device and is connected to the server via a data network. The server stores multiple image fragments organized into a hierarchical structure, and each level of the hierarchical structure stores a subset of image fragments that are associated with a specific permission level. The method includes the step of loading a fragment of an image with a specific permission level into a second set of fragments having a second resolution level that is lower than the first permission level. Each given fragment of the image from the second set of image fragments has four child image fragments in the plurality of fragments of the first level image, as prescribed by the hierarchical structure.
EFFECT: to save memory resources when displaying and drawing fragments of the image by replacing the viewing areas.
