SUBSTANCE: method for creating a model is proposed. The method comprises the stage of extracting a head portrait in a reference image, where the mentioned head portrait is a full face image of the user. Further, according to the method, the head portrait is synthesized in the mentioned reference image with the model body area in the model image to obtain a complete portrait. In this case, the stage of extracting the head portrait in the reference image comprises detecting the head portrait in the reference image to determine the diameter of the head portrait and the central position of the head portrait.
EFFECT: increased accuracy of the extraction of the head portrait, improved synthesis of the head portrait of the user with the body.
